OUR PURPOSE
No parent should have to choose between financial stability and their child's care.
When a child's health becomes uncertain, families can face overwhelming medical bills, ongoing treatment costs, long-term care expenses and lost income. For many low- and middle-income households, that stress can become nearly as heavy as the illness itself.
Through fundraising and the generosity of compassionate donors, Empowered Hearts Foundation works to provide direct relief that helps families focus on what matters most: caring for their child.

Nathan R Mitchell, MBA
For nearly 25 years, Nathan has helped leaders and teams unlock their potential, build healthier cultures and create workplaces where people feel valued and supported. His experience spans corporate retail, higher education and small business.
Along the way, he learned something bigger: leadership isn't just about performance — it's about people. That belief fueled the creation of Empowered Hearts Foundation, extending his mission beyond the workplace to families facing severe childhood illness and overwhelming medical costs.
